In fact it has been even busier.  Had a nice time in San Francisco at AES but missed seeing my good friend Jeff who is working at Dolby Labs.  Some great gear on display.  I just wish they had a better way to try out the microphones. Most companies just have them plugged in to some mystery preamp and fed into headphones.  I just can’t tell what they really sound like.  Needless to say my favorite mic on display was the one at the Mercenary Audio booth, Tube something or other, the mic is built into a Maglight, yeah the flashlight, a real ingenious design.

Congrats to Jeremy on his new CD that was just released!  Glad to be a part of it.
